About Me
My first job out of college was working as a test administrator for a police and fire psychologist.
I am one of only two nurse practitioners in Illinois triple-certified in lactation, psychiatry-mental health and family nurse practice.
I focus on women, veterans, first responders and also practice general psychiatry.
I have been a lactation consultant since 2005 and originally started as a breastfeeding counselor in 1999. I worked as a mother-baby nurse, lactation consultant (inpatient, outpatient and NICU) and even as a school nurse in the health office and with medically fragile children.
I frequently present on breastfeeding psychiatry, ADHD, postpartum psychosis and substance use
